In all honesty, I have very few criticisms for this homecoming week. Each day was unique and exciting. I had a blast at the pep rally. Eagle Pride felt especially potent throughout the halls. What’s there to complain about? If I had to pick one thing, it would be the (for lack of better word) party-poopers. We all know a few, the kids that simply refuse to wear anything but sweats and give you the “side-eye” when you’re totally feeling the beat at the dance. Yeah, those are the people I’m talking about. While I understand that we all don’t have built in excitement for school events, some of us do! So to these party poopers: give it a try, participate in the fun! Homecoming week was one for the books, and as I leave Bishop Carroll this year… I challenge the future upper-classmen to enjoy their next homecoming week as much as I’ve enjoyed mine.
