Week 1: Northwest Grizzles 

It’s a new season with a new coach but the same Bishop Carroll football. Having Coach Trail as the new head coach hasn’t been much different but a few things have changed. During practices we have different periods that originally were timed by Coach Schuckman so they could be longer than planned or short, but this year a manager uses a blow horn to transition us into the next period. This helps keep the practice on time. Another change is we are using big posters that are different colors indicating what offensive package we are in. Leading up to our first game on Thursday against Northwest, we have been studying film on the Grizzlies and during practices scout team runs the plays and the defensive of Northwest. Coach Trail has been talking to us about bringing more intensity to the practice because that will then relate to the game. Everyone on the team is ready to hit someone else. We have been working hard and are ready to get back out under the lights so come out and support your Golden Eagles Thursday night.
