The dress themes for the varsity football games have been decided, and for the first time, soccer and volleyball will have themes for a few of their games, too.
A new theme was added to the football games this year and it seems popular: City vs Country.
“I think City vs Country looks the most fun because it’s new and people can get the most creative with it,” Autumn Trail said.
Mrs. Ayres and student leaders worked on the list, which was approved by the administration.
The full list of football themes is 9/2-Millitary, 9/9-Jerseys, 9/16-Whiteout, 9/23-Ultimate Pride, 9/29-Neon, 10/7-Green and Gold, 10/14-beach, and finally, 10/21-Country vs City.
The themes for the soccer games are White-out on 9/29 and Flannel on 10/11. Volleyball on Sept. 6 is also getting a Pink-out theme.
“I really like that idea, especially Pink-out. We have never done that before,” Landry Steven said.
Student body president Grace Long encouraged kids to enjoy the games and themes.
“I’m so glad we decided to do themes for soccer and volleyball this year,” Long said. “Everyone always does a great job participating in the themes during football games! We hope adding themes for other sports will increase student attendance and make the atmosphere of these games more energetic! Make sure to dress on theme the next time you visit a home volleyball or soccer game!”
